How to create a stylish casual outfit with a shorts Shorts are my go-to weekend item especially in warmer weather. They are the perfect thing to wear outdoors, whether it’s to attend kids’ sports or a casual breakfast with friends or family.
Step 1 - Choose your shorts This season there are plenty of styles to choose from. There's denim in every shade and colour. From printed styles such as floral and checks to a multitude of lengths from knee length Bermuda, mid-thigh length and short shorts. Step 2 - Pick your top You could choose a printed blouse or a long sleeve button up that you can tie in a knot. Alternatively, you could wear a simple t-shirt. With a printed pair of shorts, you can add colour. Black and white print will look great mixed with yellow, red or watermelon. How I stopped loathing and started loving shortsShorts were one of the many things that I never liked to wear. I used to worry about being too pale, too big and too short. If let my inner mean girl win, I would never have worn a pair of shorts. I learned to hush the negative voices and instead focus on the positives. This has allowed me to wear shorts with confidence and style.
If you’ve ever felt too pale, too big or too short here’s how I overcame these objections to wearing shorts: If you want to give your wardrobe a boost, yellow is the colour to add this season. It’s one of my favourite colours as it lifts my mood and creates a happy feeling whenever I wear it.
Yellow is one of the best colours to enhance blue eyes and make them stand out. Yellow is a fabulous choice for swimwear as it can give your skin a golden glow. When it comes to prints, I find it hard to walk past floral. It’s so feminine and pretty. It’s fitting they happen to be perfect for the races, a wedding, high tea or a lunch with the girls.
Flowers come in all different shapes and sizes. This 2018 spring season you’ll see roses, colourful mixed bunches, tropical florals and vintage bouquets. Just like a fragrance, not all flowers give off the same scent or effect. A rose print can create a classic feminine look whereas a tropical print appears relaxed and fun. Woo hoo! I wore my first ever jumpsuit!
There are a couple of jumpsuit drawbacks I should point out…

It's amazing to see how much fashion repeats itself in different stores, it's like having constant Déjà Vu....
When shopping with clients I notice very similar styles in most stores. I decided to recreate the same look and compare prices. However not all clothing is created equally. I always take quality and fit into consideration. 1. Colour of the Year - Ultra Violet
Pantone like to give colours fancy names, basically it’s a medium shade of purple. This colour is super versatile and suits most skin tones.
You don’t have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to look good. In fact, there are ways to upgrade your style without spending a cent! Woohoo!
