Every woman deserves to feel beautiful and sexy.

If you’re in a long-term relationship the spark can dim a little over time, to relight the flame the quest is not about impressing the other person. The best thing you can do is love and appreciate you, the most attractive and magnetising people radiate joy and happiness.

You don’t have to be in a relationship to make yourself feel special. If you’re wanting to attract the perfect partner, do things that make you feel sexy and confident. As they say like attracts like so if your exuding sensuality, you’ll attract sensuality.

Beauty is an experience and sexy doesn’t have to be provocative, you can evoke sexiness through the scent of a perfume, the feel of fabric or the allure of a colour.

Here are five ways to express your sexy side for a sensory overload.

Scent

Aroma is a powerful way to draw someone to you if you smell good, or, move away from you if you smell bad! It’s been scientifically proven that you can be attracted to someone based on how they smell. In fact, some of the most alluring smells for excitement and arousal are vanilla, rose, citrus, mint and chocolate. Introduce these fragrances through perfumes, body lotions and scented candles.

Sound

There’s nothing more sensual than hearing a loved one whisper sweet nothings in your ear. Sometimes we don’t have the words we want to say, luckily there’s songs that can say it for us. The R&B genre is full of love tunes to get you in the mood such as Too Close by Next and I’ll Make Love To You by Boys II Men. 70s hit Feel Like Makin’ Love by Bad Company, or 80’s classic Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye, there’s also 90s ballads such as All I Want To Do Is Make Love To You by Heart or I Touch Myself by The Divinyls or more recent tunes like Your Body Is A Wonderland by John Mayer.

Taste

According to Encyclopedia Britannica “On average, the human tongue has 2,000–8,000 taste buds”. That equates to a whole lot of receptors and oral sensations. To stimulate your taste buds the most well-known food aphrodisiacs to increase sexual desire and pleasure are oysters, chilli and chocolate.

 Touch

Nerve endings and touch receptors are responsible for our sense of touch. Touching of sensitive erogenous zones is a sure way to heighten the senses, try gentle touching on the nape of your neck, lips and hands. Our entire body is sensitive to temperature and this can have an effect on your sexual performance. The optimum room temperature for between the sheets depending on your personal preference is between 19-21 degrees Celsius. When it comes to touch you can play with different textures. Lingerie is great for this as you can choose luxurious silky fabrics or soft lace. To spice ‘sleep’ time up try satin sheets.

Sight

Visual stimulation is a definite way to get the blood pumping, when you look sexy you feel sexy. Wear styles that enhance your figure and make you feel beautiful. Aim to enhance the parts of your body that make you feel good, it could be showcasing your shoulders, highlighting your waist or showing a little leg. Wearing certain colours can stimulate arousal. Red can excite, black adds mystery, pink’s perfect for flirting and white embodies innocence. Wear a matching lingerie set under your clothing to help you feel sexy no matter what you put on top.
