The Perfect Jumpsuit

Woo hoo! I wore my first ever jumpsuit!

Being short I’ve always been a little apprehensive about wearing anything that has the potential to make me look shorter, and a full-length jumpsuit falls into this category. I've been on the hunt for one that would work for my body, shape and height. I found one that ticked all the boxes, except one.  Unsurprisingly, it was too long and I had the hem taken up (no  biggie, I'm used to it! haha).

To give the illusion of extra height, I wore heels. I also added a belt to give my waist more definition. 

​It was a gorgeous colour and I  loved having the opportunity to wear it at a friend's wedding.

There are a couple of jumpsuit drawbacks I should point out…

1. Many jumpsuits button/zip up at the back. Therefore going to the toilet on your own might be an issue. Check to see if you can do it up without any assistance, or you can take a friend with you to the bathroom. Worst case scenario, ask a random stranger to zip you up. 
2. If you’re tall, it’s imperative to find one that doesn't cut you in half at the front or give you a hungry bum at the back. Be sure to check all angles in the mirror before purchasing.
